15 Months

Little Miss Siena is 15 months old! Siena is cracking me up these days! While making lunch she was running into the back of my legs and laughing! She runs from me when I try to give her baby food. She will sit in her high chair until you bring her food. She will grab your fingers and make you follow her to the refrigerator. She follows Cole every where. She likes to lay down on blankets or couches and then look up at you and smile (exactly what I did when I was her age). If she can get out the front door she starts walking right over to Grandma Carole and Grandpa Glenn's house. She loves to ride on the tractor and look for bugs with Cole. If she wants to go outside, she will bring us a pair of her shoes. If there is only one shoe and it is on her foot and I ask her where the other one is, she will lift up her foot with the shoe already on it. At least she knows what a shoe is! We can ask her questions with the intention of her doing something and most of the time she knows exactly what we want her to do and will do it. She has becomes the VERY active toddler and does not want to sit still for anything, even eating.


Siena has her favorite spots on the deck and the number one place to find her is under the slide in the "fort" as Cole calls it. She loves to be in there!

She always wants to be where Cole is. He helps her with everything and she (most of the time) loves it!

If she is in a swim suit she shows it off. I think she thinks she is naked, which, by the way, is her new favorite past time. If you yell "naked girl!" she will try to take her clothes off.

Siena knows where her belly button is but so far that is the only body part she consistently knows to point to. She lifts up her shirt really high and gives you the biggest, goofy smile she has while showing off her belly button. If her shirt is already off or her hands are full, she will just lift up her arms behind her head and push her stomach out.

All Siena wants is for Mike to hold her. If Mike isn't home then she likes me, or at night, but other wise it is dada, dada, dada. And she will follow him around calling for him and begging at his legs for him to pick her up. If I try and take her from him she pushes me away and burrows herself in his neck.

She points to the stove, fireplace and any hot food and holds her hand up and says "ahhhht" for hot. She repeats (or tries to) things we ask her to say like brother "brada" Siena "nehna" Dog "dah" More "ma" Mama "mama" Dada "dada". When she sees one of the cats she bends over and runs towards them growling. She learned that one from Cole.

Siena is a total crack up and we are enjoying every moment we have with her. She has been bringing us books but she wont sit still for longer than 2 pages.

She is now eating scrambled eggs, brown rice, avocado (sometimes), oatmeal, goat cheese (cheddar flavor), brown rice tortillas, brown rice chips, rice cakes, popcorn, and anything of Cole's she can get her hands on. She will eat baby food if she is starving.
