I think it's safe to say that today marks the last day that Cole will ever poke at a lizard with his fingers.

I couldn't see Mike on the deck so I asked Cole what daddy was doing and he said "Daddy is mowing his hair". I peeked around the deck and sure enough there was Mike shaving his head.

editing then running outside to enjoy the nice sunny day, then back to editing. Repeat 100 times and you have my day.

"Those are my new work tools mommy. Don't touch them. Maybe Cole will bite you like a guana" - Cole I am thinking he is having flash backs to the lizard biting him this weekend. A "guana" is an iguana for those who don't speak toddler.

 I turned around to see Cole walking out the patio door backwards. I asked him to turn around and the back of his pants were lumpy. I told him to come here and when pulling his pants back I found the baby tyelnol bottle in his underware right by his butt crack! He said "You can't have that mommy. I am hiding it. It is for my work" He apparently thinks this is a good hiding spot.

According to the "average" height chart Cole is the size of an average 5 year old. Hmmmm....he just turned three 2 months ago.

I love early spring mornings. Kids will be outside by 7:30 again to play!!

my relaxing morning at home just turned into a split shift at work. I am way too nice. haha!

Apparently Cole has misplaced his ears today because his lack of listening skills are at a new level.

I forgot to tell Mike that Siena can open the oven, but I did lock the oven door. This weekend Cole was with Mike and he saw Mike unlocked it. Cole says "Daddy we have to lock that door. Siena can open it. We might cook her."

spent the better half of the morning disinfecting thousands of legos. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Just before naptime Cole informed me that "I was good for him but I was not listening to him yesterday and I was being bad"

When waking up this morning it not once did I ever think I would spend my time at work keeping a goat from kicking my boss in the head. At least I didn't come home smelling like a goat.

So freaking tired. Must push through! 52G of wedding photos to sort.

Our entire deck is covered in a thin layer of pine pollen. No wonder the claritin D isn't helping. It is a very yellow world outside today.

Yesterday I heard Siena crying (not unusual) and I got on to the deck and saw Cole grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the center cut out on the deck. I told Cole to leave her alone and let her play down there. He said to me "No mommy, there is a spider down here and it might bite Siena. I have to get her out". If he does this with spiders what is going to happen when boys start calling?

When ever Cole hears a female singing he asks if it is Gaga. When Trains' song "Hey Soul Sister" comes on he says "Hey mommy, it's soul sister, you like this song??"

Siena is officially below the 5% in weight. She is 18#15oz. She gained 1oz in the last month. She is around 15% in height at 29.5 inches. I have a tiny peanut for 15 months old!

Cole is out side looking for slugs and worms and he just called for me and said "mommy, I found a worm and he is doing his exercises in my hand."

You know you've been doing the same line of work for 16 years when you walk by the table and see this and instead hold back vomit you take another bite of your sandwich and say "is this fallopian tube heart for me?" and it was.

Wedding this saturday + rain = me not a happy camper.

The house in FINALLY quite. over tired, no napping, teething kids make my head and eyes hurt. Time for dessert.

Life is very dramatic for Siena today.

both kids feel off their bikes with in 10 minutes of each other. Cole had a longer fall and he says he fell on the pipes in the grass area. He split his chin, no stitches needed, bruised cheek and sore mouth. I was on my way out to the deck with Siena when he fell so I didn't see the actual fall but the his tricycle-motorcycle (as he calls it) was upside down on the lawn (about an 18 inch drop off the deck)  Siena fell (well more like tripped) off the mini big wheel and face planted on the deck. She has a fat upper lip and raspberry nose. Luckily no teeth were injured!

massive amounts of diarrhea dripping down my babies leg is not what I want to find when I get out of the shower. then while getting another diaper out of the dryer she pee's on the floor!

 Day 5 in a row of being up at 5am. These kids have got to learn to sleep in. only positive to being up so early - house is practically cleaned up and we are heading out to go grocery shopping at 7am!

Cole is not making good choices today.

Instead of sleeping during his nap time, I can hear Cole singing "take me out to the ball game"

Just one from the wedding last weekend. So excited to finish editing this wedding!

The BBQ'd pizza is almost finished! The kids are in the bath! I see an early night and some SYTYCD!

4 day weekend ahead! Woo Hoo!!

Finally decided to have two websites - both are accessed from the same website URL but there is now one dedicated to weddings and the other to lifestyle. Hoping to have them both up and running this weekend. So for now they are visible but under construction. :-)

Cole's first words of the morning - "I want chocolate covered raisins" These? "No I want the big one right there" Those are chocolate covered espresso beans. "Ok I want those". Who I am to deny him.

today I am catching up on blogging and editing. I am almost 2 weeks behind and it is driving me CRAZY!!!

I forgot Cole had a bowl of cream cheese for his bagel and while I was helping him in the bath room she was helping her self to the cream cheese. When I noticed and ran to her she grabbed more and shoved it in her mouth. Fingers crossed she doesn't react! This will be the 3rd 2 week start over since trying to get coconut tested again. I swear at this rate I will never get a clean 2 weeks to test her allergy.

So far the coconut trial has been a success! No rashes!!! So glad she wasn't allergic to the coconut!

There's only one kid in this house that takes the remote every where and when trying to figure out which kid emptied half the trash can into the toilet I know right away who to blame. Had she not left the most obvious piece of evidence, Cole would have for sure been to blame. Thank goodness she can't flush.

Siena can officially "fetch" a legoman. I ask her "where is a legoman" she goes across the room to the Lego tub and digs through until she finds one and brings it to me. She only grabs the ones that have hands still attached.

A few historical moments at the Fredy house - For the first time in history both children slept in their own beds and did not wake up once the entire night! Second, Siena slept 10 1/2 hours with out waking up which is a miracle in it's self and the chances of it happening again are as slim as mike agreeing to my last post. :-)

business cards arrived and they look like crap. very disappointed at the moment. hard to believe they came from the same company that does amazing albums. :-(

Tomorrow morning 10 am at the Meadow Vista park is a 5K walk/run to raise money to finish the community center. It is part of a Colfax high student's Senior project. All on paved road. Strollers welcome. Come out to support Meadow Vista and the community center.

Cole was describing the dog fight (really more of a cussing match between the fence) Onyx got into this morning to Mike (he was at work when it happened) and everything was pretty believable until he started talking about the vampires. Maybe he was trying to describe our p.o.s. neighbor getting bit by his dog. I would have paid to see that. I was in the house. :-(

the thought of packing for a weekend trip is exhausting. Add in having to pack in all photography equipment for a wedding celebration and I'm spent. Can some one do it for me?

Poor Siena has another allergic rash. :-( no saw her eat anything she wasn't supposed to.

One of the best things about having Grandparents next door is when you come home from a weekend away exhausted with a car full of stuff and hours of cleaning and unpacking, they take both kids for a few hours to feed them and let us get everything put away. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the past minute Cole has called Siena a "sweet pea" and "little baby girl meatball"

i've given Siena 3 bottles with soy milk in them today. not one rash, no gas, no reflux.....yet. Interesting turn of events. Could she have outgrown the allergy already? And yes it was intentional. I like to experiment.

two 3 year old, a 14 month old and a 4 month old. I am so out numbered!

First thing Cole says to Dylan when they walk in is "Dylan, do you want to see my batman shirt? It is cool!!"

Mike went out side to get firewood and Cole locked him out. Cole is now playing dumb about the entire thing. I think he may have blamed the dog.

craving a trader joe's supreme ice cream sandwich. debating on if it is worth the 440 calories..... it just might be.

Siena has been begging at the door with tupperware so I will get her hail to eat. She spills it on the floor and Cole yells "Look what Siena did mommy" then he gets down and says "oh crap!" as he is running to pick up the hail. I am to blame for this one.

I don't think I have ever been this angry at Cole in his short little life. i leave them alone for 5 minutes (i'm in the other room) and he S**t on the floor and Siena crawled all through it and I have no idea how many places she made it too. Poo every where. not pleased at all. this means I have to clean EVERY inch of the house. a pooped covered baby does not make me happy. after cleaning the entire kitchen floor cinderella style (slate is such a bad idea) I told Mike it was ok to put Siena down and he says "What about the turd over by his door?" What???????? How about turds. Oh my god. I am so over poop at the moment. yes wrapped up like little presents in a towel and a blanket

When you wake up at 5:51 on Saturday morning not by choice you know it's going to be a long day.

that photo shoot was a bust. Photographers children are the worst to photograph. Hopefully there are some keepers!

Crap. Cole just got bit by another nat. It's already the size of a quarter! On a brighter note, there are actually some really cute pics from the shoot this morning. :-)

Big day for Mike - He has two children that are in love with Legos. That's right, Siena starting "playing" with Legos today. By playing I mean digging around in the big box to find the "right" pieces and trying to put them together. I am just as proud that she tried to put shoes on yesterday.

In order to get fat in Siena's diet since she can't have dairy or soy products she now gets to have coconut milk added into her rice milk! Pina colada's for Siena! :-)

Got back from physical therapy with Siena. She's doing great, no issues with her hip for

walking. Everything is normal! yay!!

And Cole just got bit again.

it's a comforting to know that the man armed with a gun that had an entire shopping center shut down and a 3 hour long man hunt was captured. It isn't comforting to know that he was caught and arrested in the front yard of the daycare where my kids were today.

so frustrated! Siena has another allergic rash. Unfortunately I was a bad feeder and gave her coconut milk yogurt with strawberries last night and she has had coconut milk in her bottle all day and I also gave her coconut milk yogurt with pineapple. So what is she allergic to - strawberries, pineapple, or coconut? Crap.

Sick kids up all night. At least siena's rash is better. Here's to a super lazy day!

i totally think that $7500 steam shower I saw on HGTV is worth every penny right about now.
Guess who has a double ear infection? me. Guess who is so beyond pissed off about it that there are no words to explain it? yup, me. Tomorrow we find out if both kids have it as well.
Miley being a mentor must be a joke, right? Really?

Cole just walked in to the office and told me "I want to go to bed mommy". This child has never wanted to go to bed, ever. He must not be feeling good. He also told me his ears hurt.

At least Cole has found something productive to do with his over abundance of snot.

i've pretty much been up since 12:30. Siena was unable to sleep at all, crying, and rubbing her ears. I finally got some sleep from 5-6:30 when Mike got up and took her out of the room. this sucks. :-(

Cole has bulging myaringitis in his left ear (ear drum is bulged out and full of puss - doc says it is rare and pretty painful - he is the only one who didn't seem to be in pain) Siena has what I have - fluid in the right ear and fluid and puss in the left ear. Let's hope the antibiotics help and keep fingers crossed... that Siena doesn't react to this medication as well.

Should I be worried that when I tell Siena "no" she immediately says "na" right back to me?
while in the dining room - "Mommy this is nice (as cole touches the wall) "What's nice?" "This mommy (the wall) this is beautiful and nice"

Cole's first words today "I need those little chocolate friends" (He is referring to the chocolate chip granola bars from Trader Joe's)

Add one more allergy to Siena's list......Azrithromycin. update - spoke with Dr. (love that I can't talk to the Dr. on a Sat night!) and it looks like she is reacting to the flavoring - cherry - Will give last dose tomorrow and see if a reaction occurs.

note to self - don't go the park right before lunch time. Kids get pissy and mom and dad don't get to eat lunch until almost 3. At least it's nap time for both kids!

looking forward to a new week of no sickies, ear infections, vomiting or snotty noses (ok I can dream on that one). And a week of rain to wash the pine pollen away!

This morning was the worst awakening I've had since becoming a mom. Holy crap.
must prepare the house for Mike to be alone with the kids for 2 1/2 days. Oh boy!!!! Laundry, cleaning, groceries, let the fun begin!

Cole's making it pretty easy to leave for two days and not miss him

i was asking Cole what he was eating for lunch and he was to tell me what each thing was called - when I pointed to the mac in cheese he said it was "gnocchi". haha! my kid is sophisticated.
who knew I was so strong! I can shatter my dining room table glass top with one hand and a little bit of pressure. not funny by the way. the glass top cost $220.

Cole seems to think that it is ok to go outside when it is 45 degrees in socks and underware.

Cole melts my heart. He just told me "I so glad you're here mommy" while we were playing legos. When I first got home he said " can I play legos Aimee?" this morning he said to me "I missing you when you at work mommy"

So close to needing stitches...will he ever learn? " look at my owie Siena. I sick."

today is Siena's last day of being zero. :-( How did a year go by so fast???

Apparently turning 1 to Siena meant learning to climb up on to anything over night. I made a

huge mistake when I was pregnant with her saying that no child could EVER be more active than Cole. I am so eating my words today.

Last day of my 5 day weekend. what to do........

Cole came running to me and said "mommy Siena is making noise" (she was napping). So we go in to get her and he runs up to the play pen and says "I so happy to see you Sea-ah-na" and starts giving her kisses. The on the couch he keeps kissing her and telling her "Happy Valentine Day" He is in love with her.

Last night Cole told me he wanted a brother baby (his words) named Jacob (his friends baby brothers name) and that Siena wants one too because she likes to hold babies.

Bummed my photoshoot was rained out but I am working on my 5 blurb books so that makes up for it!

Holy crap! How many different stupid games are on facebook. Just when I think I have hid them all another one pops up. How do people have time to cook fake food and take care of fake animals?

you know it's going to be a long day when you can't even talk on the phone away from the kids with out it resulting in bath time before 1pm.

is trying to imagine how swollen cole's neck will be in the morning. Those darn biting nats are out and he is on his way to having jowls. I seriously hope he doesn't end up as swollen and last year when he took him to the ER.

Cole's neck is double the size of last night. Siena has a 102 degree fever but she had her live virus vaccines 8 day ago and they said 7-10 days after she could get a fever so it's right on time!

i wanna turn off the tv. will someone please put her out of her misery.

Poor guy. This isn't even close to how swollen he got last year. But this is only the first bite of the season. Let's hope he builds up some immunity to those nats!

Home from the city and oh so tired.

I love seeing my kids playing together. Cole is the most helpful big brother and Siena just adores him. So happy to have them in my life.

5:30am on a Saturday looks a lot different than 5:30am on a work day.

Mike and Cole have been watching walking with dinosaurs at night. Well last night they watched Walking with Cavemen. Today Cole asked me "mommy, can I watch the monkeys."

Cole is now calling Mike "Mikey". Even I don't call him that. When I ask him my name he calls me "Auntie Alix"

Anybody whose kids have allergies - did they ever get a rash on their bottom that actually bled?

Looks like Siena is allergic to soy. Now i have to research all things made with soy and avoid them in her diet. Fun times.

super frustrated with the "soy allergy". the hypo-allergenic formula the doc has her on is 26% soy! I even called the company to confirm since the container says nothing about soy. Now I am totally confused as to what is going on. :-( waiting to hear back from the doctor.

note to self. next time the power suddenly goes out make sure you know where the kids are.

hoping to get more than 3 hours of sleep in a row tonight. On day 6 of fussy baby can't sleep at night but has no problem taking a 5 hour nap while I am at work
