The jumperoo!

Siena has made it in to the jumperoo! We put Cole in at 14 weeks but he was a little bit bigger than Siena at this point. She faired pretty well for being a pint size munchkin. I think she really enjoyed it.
Trying to figure out what the heck this thing is that keeps making elephant noises every time I move.
She still has a little ways to go before getting into jumping position. We realized shortly after that we could lower it one more level. She still can't touch the floor. Cole was sharing his trail mix with the floor.

And of course Cole had to be involved once he discovered what the 3 of us were up to.

Poor Siena. She never gets a break. He moved to the floor after this to give her feet kisses.

I could be wrong, but I think she kind of likes this new toy...
Just look at those marshmellow arms. Don't you just wanna squeeze her!
I love this kid!

Some more loving brother and sister moments

Cole just can't seem to get enough of his little sister. I am gonna feel really bad for her when she is older and he chases off any guy that tries to come within 10 feet of her.

Coles basketball skills

Cole loves basketball. He displayed his skills to us on his second birthday with his mini hoop. One of these days we are going to buy him ones of these bigger hoops. He gets so excited every time he sees a basketball hoop. He yells "Ball"

His jump shot. Look at that follow through.

The dunk
Goal tending. We are gonna have to teach him about those rules. Just because your bigger than everyone else doesn't mean you get to hang out under the net Shaq, oh wait I mean Cole.

Siena's first Rivercats game.

We took the kids to see the Rivercats play the Las Vegas 51's last night at Raley Field. It was the first game in about a year that we had been too. Cole was a little restless the last time so we gave him a few months to "mature". :-)

Siena in her cute "it's my first baseball game" outfit.

We had to stop at Taco Tree to get Cole some quesidilla's for the ride down and then for distraction at the game.

It was little bit colder than expected when we got there. Thank goodness we brought blankets.

The people next to us had a 2 month old. Not sure whose bright idea it was to bring the car seat for the baby. The poor dad had to hold it on his lap the entire game. You can see it behind Siena's head.

Cole kept bugging the kid in the red hat. The poor kid was way too nice to tell him to stop. There's nothing like having a 2 year old staring down your neck dropping goldfish crackers.

How we knew it was time to leave.

We left at the top of the 8th inning. Cole was ready for another round of running up and down the stairs and poor Mike barely saw any of the game. We got stopped by the new crew on the way out. Siena and I hid behind the camera. Mike and Cole were on the 11 o'clock news. When the news came on we found out that the game was still going on! They were in the 14th inning!

While we were walking to the car, Cole kept tugging at his shorts. I figured that they felt a little bit loose. Come to find out, his diaper feel down his leg.

Play Group

We were all finally able to get together for play group once again. The kids had a blast at Mac's house playing in the various "sandboxes" which were actually flour, corn meal, and one was sand. They played in the pool, on the play structure, and ran around like maniacs. All in all I think they all had a blast. It's great for these little ones to all play together. They have all been hanging out since they were 6 months old. All the kids are with in 6 weeks in age of each other.

Here's Dylan, pre mess

Brenden was cracking me up. Every time I'd take a picture he would then ask to look at the back of the camera and then he would say "It's a Brenden!"

Mac loves his new backyard!

Nicole and Siena.

Dylan in his prime!

Little Bree was a ham for the camera.

Caitlyn and her little sister Aubrey came to play group. Aubrey is the youngest addition to the group at 4 weeks of age. Siena is next in line at 15 weeks.

The other ham of the day.

Cole wouldn't let me get much of anything photo wise of him.

Charlie preferred to try to escape out front the entire time.

Getting a group shot of 6 two year old was quite the event. A few actually turned out pretty cute.

15 weeks

At 15 weeks old Siena weighs 11# 5 1/2 ounces. She has her sleep days and her awake days. She can't seem to get a good balance of both. Either she sleeps all day or is awake all day. It is very frustrating but I am working on getting her into a better nap schedule. She still loves to play with the play gym and she talks up a storm to her toys. At this age we had Cole in his jumperroo. I am not sure yet if she is quite ready for it. We may get it out this weekend for a test run. She is still wearing her 0-3 months clothes.

Oh and I think Cole has been teaching her how to smile...

Cole's newest shirt

This shirt made its way all the way down from Helena. Montana. Cole's Auntie Andrea and Lennis bought it for him. Just perfect for Cole! Thank you!

And, really. She just to darn cute to trade in for a tractor. Sorry buddy, she's here to stay!

Cole speaks! and weight updates

I showed Cole a picture of Mike on the computer and asked him who it was. Cole said "Dada" Then he pointed out the patio door to where Mike's truck gets parked and said "Bye Bye Dada" "Dada gone". Wow! An actual make sense conversation.

Since Cole and Siena came home from the hospital at pretty much the exact same weights it's been fun to track their weights and see how they compare:

3 days old:

Cole 4 # 14oz
Siena 4# 13oz

2 weeks:
Cole 6# 2oz
Siena 6#

1 month:
Cole 7# 8oz
Siena 6# 14 1/2 oz

10 weeks:
Cole 11# 3oz
Siena 9# 5oz

Today at 14 weeks:
Siena 11# 5 1/2 oz

So Siena has slowed down a bit in the weight gaining category. We will see what she is at her 4 month check up. Cole was 13 pounds. I don't see her gaining 2 1/2 pounds in the next 3 weeks.

Just go to sleep already

Eyes closing. Sleep can wait. Must. Touch. Bug.

The cabin trip

Mike and Cole went up to his parents property this past weekend. They are in the process of building a cabin and Mike wanted to be able to help one weekend. It takes about 5 hours to get there and Cole did pretty well on the ride up.

I asked Mike to get a silhouette shot of Cole and the sunset. He did pretty good!

This is the view outside the downstairs bedroom window.

Hard at work collecting nuts and bolts.

Cole's first campfire. He was in charge of the poker stick.

Cole building his own cabin.

The second story going up on the cabin in beautiful Lassen County.

The guys working. Can you find Cole?
Cole, Grandpa, Hank went on many walks. They built a damn in the creek and Cole fished with a stick.
