19 weeks - 20 weeks to go!

THIS IS THE HALFWAY POINT FOR ME!!!!!

I can not believe how quickly a second pregnancy goes by compared to the first!  It is amazing!

Cravings - Mint chip ice cream, dr. pepper, rice, pasta

Peeing non stop

So congested that it almost seems like I have a cold.  I am waiting for the moment in the middle of the night when I wake up with a bloody nose because my nose is so dry.

It's official!  I can no longer wear my jeans!  If I could get them over my a** then I could use the bella bands but that's not gonna happen.

I have gained 10 pounds total in the past 15 weeks....

It is the size of a large heirloom tomato this week
8 1/2 oz and 6 inches from head to bottom

Good bye Summer, Hello Fall

Sun tea = Summer
I am not going to miss summer, that's what cold brew tea is for!
Bring on Fall!  Chance of thunderstorms tomorrow!

To all my blog readers out there!

The time is coming!  Only 9 more days until we can find out if we are having a boy or girl for baby number 2!  I have posted a poll along side the blog.  It will be open for the next week.  I am very interested to see what people think since I actually have no feeling one way or the other this time.  I knew for sure with Cole he was going to be a boy.  We have chosen this time not to wait till the end to find out.

Looking forward to seeing those picks!

What I did while mom and dad were in Tahoe

Climb through the dog window

Feed Megan goldfish crackers

Get stuck in the kid statues

And of course run around naked in the bath tub

The owie

This is Cole's first MAJOR owie.  Is it really that bad?  Of course not, but to Cole is it EVERYTHING.  He has to point it out to everyone.   If you ask him if his owie needs a kiss he will hold his arm up until you kiss it.

18 weeks - 21 weeks to go!

Cravings: still the same as before.  Pretty much food in general sounds good

Clothing: still getting those pants buttoned - however I may have to unbutton them after eating a big meal.

Peeing every hour during the day.  I did not miss this part.  Especially when lying in bed trying to fall asleep and wham - gotta pee again even though you just went 5 minutes ago...

It is a bell pepper this week
about 5 1/2 inches long and weighing 7 oz

Finally some pictures of the parents...

It has been a very long time since Mike and I have had some "decent" photos of us taken together.  Here is my attempt at capturing us.  My trusty camera, a tripod and some amazing weather and scenery in Tahoe.  My newly acquired photoshop skills are also coming in handy.  Some photos are on here  more than once because I edited them differently and I liked them all.  Click on the photo to enlarge if so desire. :-)

Anniversary Trip to Tahoe

Cole acting like he cares that he is leaving us for a day and a half.
(by the way - this was the FIRST time I have spent the night away from Cole.  It was a little bit easier than I thought it would be.)

We went here first to wander around.  Got hungry and left to Kings Beach to find a cheeper lunch.
We had lunch here.  OVERPRICED and NOT GOOD.
Don't waste your time or money.
Should have eaten in Truckee.
I took Mike to the miniature golf course that I went to as a kid.  Still the same and still a lot of fun!

Mike kicked my butt.
I was almost 30 over par...

Beautiful views of the lake from Kings Beach

We had an amazing dinner at Gar Woods.
Mike chose the restaurant about 2 months ago.
To our surprise we were treated to dinner by my parents.
Sneaky Sneaky!

The view from our table

Appetizer: Coconut Prawns - eaten way too fast to document with a photo
I also had French Onion Soup - as always a good choice

Chicken Picata

Jerk rubbed pork tenderloin

The restaurants dock at night

View back to Gar Woods

I think my pants may have still been unbuttoned at this point.
Too full from all the food.
We got White Chocolate Snicker Cheesecake to go.

The cabin in Rainbow we got to stay at for the night.
Thanks goes out to the Bonner's!

We played Yahtzee and ate cheesecake by the fire.

The only reason I had to get up in the middle of the night was to pee.
No child to tend too!
Onyx was so happy to see us, she jumped into the car to greet us with kisses.

Cole's reaction to seeing us was not so sweet.  He ran and hid between my mom's legs and then when I picked him up he head butted me and started crying.  Missed you too sweets.
