Bacon

Siena has a love affair with bacon.  She would eat pounds of it if we let her.  Tonight she took a late nap and she was awake for about 30 minutes with out saying much. The first thing she said was "I need bacon"  hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then she got grumpy because there was pepper on the bacon.  She looked at me and said "I don't like this stuff, I felt it on my tongue"  So we had to wash it all of for her.  Such a drama queen.

Today

Little miss has been a  bit fussy these days and when I found her like this it was the sweetest thing.  She put herself down for a nap.  Doesn't get any cuter than this!

It's an early Halloween

I am a little early this year but since I am so busy I figured it was better to buy them now while I remembered!!!  Siena is "supergirl" and Cole is a skeleton.

The washer game

When Mike and the kids were at the cabin in August they played this "washer" game at the neighbors house.  The kids loved it so much that Mike made one for them.  Luckily Cole has only tossed one into his forehead and it didn't split it open!

Happy 6th Anniversary to us!

It's been 6 years!  Yay for us!  :-)  Nothing exciting for us this time.  For the second year in a row I am working a wedding on our anniversary.

Cole's first goal!

Today Cole made his first goal at a Soccer game!  I am so proud of him!!  I wish I had been there to see it (I am at a wedding today) but I can tell he is so proud of him self!!!!!  Thank you to Mike for being the photographer while I am at weddings.  I am going to miss his first 6 games.  :-(

If you can't tell, he also LOVES being goalie.  Always the first to volunteer.  It totally cracks me up!

Chocolate Powder

This has been occurring on a normal basis for awhile now.  When I leave the room to do anything I almost always find her some where she is NOT supposed to be.  This is her favorite spot.

Coleisms

While watching Hillbilly Handfishing on Animal Planet.

C: Mom, what are they doing?

A: Hand fishing

C: They are supposed to use fishing poles! Mom, when I am 20 plus 1 years older I am gonna catch fish like this (slaps hands together)

In the car this morning:

C:  Mom where do zombies come from?

A: You have to be bit by a zombie to become a zombie

C:  Do zombies come from Africa?

A:  No

C:  Oh.  I want to kill a zombie so I can eat him.

A:  I don't think a zombie is going to taste very good.

C: why?

A: Because he is already dead and rotting and he probably has maggots.

C:  Would salt help?

A:  probably not.

C:  How about sugar?

Look at what I did mommy!  These are my happy faces.  I wanted to surprise you!

Sunsets

Since the seasons have shifted a month or so around here, in the middle of September we are now getting our summer thunder storms and awesome sunsets.  Here are few from last nigh and the night before.  The first photo was a crazy peach color and everything around us was peach as well.  It was so pretty!   It's still about 85-90 degrees.

Stomp Rockets

I bought Cole a stomp rocket yesterday because he really wanted it but also because it was only $10.  Man was that the best $10 every spent.  He is in LOVE with this toy.

And I totally get the best mom award for attaching glow sticks to it for some night time fun!

San Francisco

On Sunday I had an engagement session in San Francisco and since I have been gone so much I really wanted to be able to spend time with the family as well so Mike and the kids came along with me for the day.  We took the kids to Pier 39 so they could watch the sea lions fight with each other.   Apparently the sea gulls have gotten quite aggressive because they will now fly right in to you if you are holding food and take it from you.  It's quite funny to watch the people get attached.

We took the kids on the carousal for the first time.  They loved it but didn't quite understand why they couldn't keep riding on it.  :-(

We went to get pizza after my session was over and luckily the restaurant was empty because our little still don't know how to behave in public places.  :-)
