We took the kids hot tubbing in the snow.  This is afterwards and had to collect some snow before we went back in side.

Surprise Snow Storm

I am loving all this spring snow storms!  The kids love watching the snow fall!  We ended up with 4 inches!

Snow....again!

Snow!

That big storm that was gonna cause me lots of grief with my infections has finally made it here.  I've was at work all day but it started snowing in Auburn, so if that's happening then you know it's getting crazy at our house which also means the freeway is gonna get shut down.  Cole was at his friends house for the afternoon and so I had to leave work and get to him which is up HWY 49.  Well there was a fatal accident on HWY 49 (big surprise) and it caused it to close.  Fortunately by the time I got there the HWY was open again.  There aren't too many other ways to get to him and the storm was getting worse.

It was a mess at the house with all the traffic and people who can't read that the freeway is closed.  So annoying!!!!

Happy New Year!!

We got about 1/2 inch of snow that started around 2am.  Oh man do I love watching the snow fall.  I left the back deck light on in our room so I could be sure to see the snow falling if I wake up in the middle of the night.  It was beautiful!

An early morning drive to Lake Tahoe

I decided to head back up to Tahoe bright and early Friday morning to meet with the couple one last time to finish up some photos since we got snowed out a few days ago.  Well sunrise in Lake Tahoe in the winter is not the warmest of times, infact it was NEGATIVE 8 degrees.  Holy Cow!  I thought my fingers were going to fall off.

After photos I got some shots of the kids enjoying the snow.  The negative temps were not slowing these kids down.  Although the bathrooms at Sand Harbor are a nice 80 degrees.
