4th of July

Our morning started off with these beautiful airplanes flying over the house a few times. Cole was in love with them and kept waving to them.
When we got to my parents house, Cole was showing off his jumping skills to Bree and the rest of the guests.
Mike enjoyed some new beer.
A typical family shot for the Fredy's. Maybe some day we will all be smiling. :-)
Bob and Scarlet came to stay with my parents for the weekend.
Bree and her mom Cindy joined us for dinner and fireworks on the boat.
One of the rare occurrences on the boat where these two were not fighting.
Don't let this dog fool you for one minute by looking all sweet and innocent. She was on major lockdown after her little stunt earlier in the day. My mom dropped off my dad, Bob, and Mike at the marina and then drove to their friends house where we were docking the boat so we could have an easier time getting out that night for fireworks. Well Onyx was with my mom and their friends son. He asked my mom if Onyx liked the water and my mom said yes and took her off the leash. Bad idea. Onyx took off in the water swimming a good couple 100 feet away from the dock with no sign of turning back. The guy jumped in after her trying to catch her. Onyx continued on her merry way splashing and then of course biting at her splashes. She would not let this guy catch her. My dad, Mike, and Bob are coming towards the cove when they notice a black dog swimming like crazy and guy calling for help. It took them a sec to realize that this was in fact Onyx and they'd better help out. It ended up taking two boats, 1 guy in a kayak, and my parents friends son (who had to be thrown a life jacket) to get her cornered and on to the shore. The poor kid was cursing her up and down. He was so mad! I think it's pretty funny. All people should know that labs are insane about water and swimming and unless you plan on going in after them, it's recommend to let them go on there own, because they wont come back.
Siena happy to be released from the life jacket of torture.

Grandpa Tom waiting patiently for the fireworks that were delayed for almost an hour and a half.
Happy Birthday Dad!
