For Cole's birthday he received two grow your own garden kits. It was finally time to start them so Cole and Mike put them together this past weekend.
Cole is pretty proud of them. He calls them his flowers and asks if he can sleep with them.

Oh, you have no idea how excited I am for when Jackson is old enough to do this! So exciting. And how adorable he asks if he can sleep with them. How excited he'll be to be able to pick those tomatoes!
We have a HUGE garden we built 5 years ago. It is 50'x25' and totally fenced in from the deer. We also have an orchard attached to it that is about double that size. We haven't had a garden in about 2 years so we are hoping to get it going again this year. The soil is not the best and we need to get it going again. Cole is going to have his own box!
