2 1/2 year old (30 months)

At 2 1/2 months Cole is quite the bi polar child. I assume that is pretty typical of most normal 2 years olds. He had the biggest meltdown of his life today and it was all about getting dressed. I normally don't care if he wears clothes but we had to get to Siena's dr's appointment so he didn't have a choice. That lasted all of about 10 minutes. He was screaming like he was being killed or something. Boy was I glad when a chocolate granola bar cured that fit. It actually brought me back to the Pier 39 aquarium experience, it was that bad.

Other than little behavioral problems he is turing out to be a pretty nice big brother. He still has his moments with Siena where he bites her but he really tries to make her laugh when she is crying by blowing on her feet and bringing her toy after toy until she stops crying. He is even starting to involve her in his own games. Today it he put the bag of trail mix in front of her and when she was go after it, he would also take a swing at it and then crack up.

He still likes to help us with things and does pretty much what ever you ask him to unless he is in a bad mood. He is still a picky eater and doesn't eat too much. His most recent obsession is lime popsicles - "green one! possicle, green". If I forget to lock the freezer he will sneak in and get one and then find me and hold it up proudly and yell "Got one!"

He is still not potty trained. However when we let him run around naked outside, if it has been awhile since we took the diaper off we will tell him to go pee and he will. So he is grasping the concept he just doesn't see it as being important just yet.

He is around 37 1/2 inches tall and probably 31-32 pounds. He is a pretty sturdy guy.

His vocabulary has grown exponentially. He repeats everything we say. He says new words every day and really surprises us with what he knows.
