Our trip to Oregon - Day 2

Our second day in Neskowin was a 180 from the first.  Windy and cold with rain on the horizon.  Typical Oregon coast weather.  We stopped in town at the only restaurant  and got tea and coffee.  Here's Cole enjoying his "mocha" (chocolate milk).

What's totally awesome is that Cole gave me a real smile!  Not a cheesy funny faced one!!!

Inside the beach house were a lot of stuffed and mounted fish from the owners fishing trips.

This fish is amazing!  It's huge too.  You can see how big Cole is compared to it.

For the wedding reception most of the family (not my mom) were going as Star Wars characters.  It was a costume party so why not have a family theme?

Ali as Yoda

Targee as Darth Vader

Late in the morning we headed out to the beach while my mom and dad headed up to the brewery to set up for the party.  Andrea and Lennis wanted to surf afterwards so we all played on the beach first.

Cole spent most of his time having the dogs chase the tennis ball.  He loves the ball thrower.

Typical Northern coast view.  The giant rock off the coast in the distance is Haystack Rock.  That is where the brewery is. Not on the rock but the rock is 1 mile away from the restaurant windows.

Melanie and Patrick enjoying the windy morning.

The kids pose better for their aunt and uncle than they do for us.

The beach house.  The guy that lives there full time spend a good deal of him time trimming the trees so he can see the view.  Do you notice the extra short trees????

That night it was raining hard and so windy.  We weren't able to take too many outdoor photos and I don't have the rest of the indoors ones done yet.  So here are the ones of all our costumes.

Princess Leia and Han Solo -

2 storm troopers, 1 jedi and 1 ewok
