updating the blog

I am sure a bunch of random out of dates posts will be coming up in your google reader or you may just see a new post come up.  I'm trying to play catch up with the blog so it's gonna be a lot of random for a while.  By random I mean over the last year in and a half.  Yup!  It's gonna be fun, not!!!!!
