Thanksgiving

Another Thanksgiving came and went. I took few photos which I always regret afterwards but sometimes I just want to put the camera down.

Food was wonderful as always.

They spent the last 2 hours not going to sleep. They trashed their room, they screamed at us, and then finally they fell asleep.

I actually think Cole fell asleep first and then Siena must have snuck in next to him.

Panda Bear Panda Bear

Siena's favorite book.  She knows the animals and will point to them when asked.  She is constantly asking us to read the book to her.

They like facebook too.

Or they just like the computer. I think it's the later.

Not so big snow storm

Well we didn't get the snow they said we would.  8" turned into about 1".

Cat talk

We had all just woken up and Cole noticed the cats were sleeping at the end of the bed.  He darts over and of course Bebe flies away.  Cole has Minkie pinned down and her ear started pointing back.  I said "Cole I think you are making Minkie mad"  Cole says "He is not mad"  I said to Cole "Cole, Minkie is a girl kitty" Cole says "Oh, well what is Bebe?"  I said "Bebe is a girl too"  Cole says "I thought that Bebe was a guy."

My life in front of a computer

I have spent every waking minute that I am not taking care of kids or working at the clinic in front of the computer.  I set a goal to be finished by Dec 1st with everything.  I know that some of that wont happen only because I had to cancel two engagement sessions this weekend due to the major storm and both of those will take place in December and I have 1 family session (we barter for firewood) as well.  But for the rest of the photos, I want them done.  I took on way too much again this year and it all finally caught up with me or it's just the fact that I have ALWAYS been a procrastinator and it screws me every time.  So next year will be different.  It's my new year's resolution that I am starting now.  No more procrastination.  That's it.  That's all I am trying to figure out.

The snow is coming!!

The first snow of the year is arriving about 2 weeks earlier than last year!  It's supposed to start tomorrow night and go through Tuesday.  It's a big storm with a lot of snow up the hill (like up to 4 feet or more) but only about 4 inches for us.  Cole is very excited about the upcoming storm!  He keeps telling me that the fog means snow is almost here.

We tried to be outside for a bit before it got too cold and the rain came.  Cole helped me pick up the deck which was awesome of the little guy.  He likes to "work".  He helped Grandpa clean up around the barn too.

But we got to enjoy one last fall day before the storms arrive!

More Potty talk

Siena is getting so close to being ready to be out of diapers.  She is years ahead of Cole.  When she poops in her diaper she grabs at her butt and yells "pee pee" and runs to the bathroom.  About 1/2 the time she makes it in time to poop on the potty.
