Still Sick

Well we have all been sick since Christmas.  By all I mean the 4 of us and the grandparents.  Grandma Terri, Grandma Carole, Mike and Cole have all had it the worst.  I took the kids to the doctor's today and Siena got put on antibiotics for a possible sinus infection even though Cole has been the one with a fever on and off since Christmas.  Cole showed no signs of a sinus infection just probably a virus that keeps going around and around.

I can't not say enough about how amazing today was.  70 degrees, sunny, not a breeze in the air, just perfect!  I am loving our little January spring.

This week at work marks the first 3" sewing needle I have seen being removed from a dogs stomach.  Yeah, it creeped me out too.  And yes the puppy swallowed it.  Ahh!!!!!

Siena spits in each hand, rubs them together and then brushes her hair back with her spit hands.  Gross!

Sick again

And once again we are all fighting off some sort of illness.  I am so tired of being sick.  Ugh.  After this wedding I had on Saturday and then an early morning engagement session I am beat and I feel like I have been hit by a train.  I really hope this doesn't continue for too much longer.

I also decided to cold turkey Siena from the bottle.  She's almost 2 years old and that bottle needs to be gone!  We will see how much of a battle this becomes!

Amazing Day!

I can not get over how nice it is today!  It's about 61 degrees and sunny!  That's right, after a month of rain and fogs it's sunny for the second day in a row and it looks like no rain for 2 weeks!  But this is very typical of January here in Applegate.  We get a little tease of snow in December, then spring in January and then back to winter from February until April and close to May.  So we are outside enjoying the sunny weather and a beautiful weekend.

I photographed my first wedding of 2011 yesterday.  It was great.  Foggy all day but not horribly cold or too sunny!

Siena is so close to being potty trained.  She refuses to wear her cute little girl underware however.  She insists on only wearing the same underware as Cole.

23 months

1 month away from being the big 2!

Her current favorite phrase: "Nemo (meeemo).  DVD on" and then she sits in the corner of the couch.

She currently bites her nails to no end.  It's actually quite annoying.  I don't want to have to resort to the pepper gel stuff but seriously the girl needs to stop with the nail biting!

She is quite spunky and prefers to spend all her time with Grandpa Glenn if possible.

She has lots of word which I will list in a later post.  She's pretty funny about them too.

House Rules

Yesterday my mom had suggested that we start a house rules list for the kids to help with some of the objectional behavior they have been displaying.  So I asked Cole what some good rules would be and here's what we came up with:

Well tonight while I was at work Cole dragged Mike over to the chart and point to the bottom one and says "What does this say?"  Mike responds with "no arguing" so Cole points again "What does this one say"  Mike say "no hitting".  Cole goes "See Siena, you are not supposed to hit me."  HAHHAHAHHAHAHHA!!!

We went to Chico today to visit with some friends.  We stopped off at Kelli's house to hang out with miss Haliey.  Siena kept saying "baby Bailey".
