It's love

I love watching them walk and hold hands.  It's a rare day for Siena to let Cole hold her hand so when he can he is all over it.

Soccer

Cole really seems to love soccer!  He doesn't quite get the idea that you don't exactly have to share the ball with everyone and that it's ok to steal it from the other kids.  He does love being goalie though!

I don't even know what to say.

This photo cracks me up for so many reasons.  She is so dang serious I just want to pinch her little cheeks.  She is so pink it's blinding.  And she rocks this look like no one else can.  I love her!

Garage Sale Finds

Last weekend we picked up these gems at a friends garage sale.  The kids LOVE them!  Siena is always trying to make us food in the "kitchen"

The best find ever!!!!!

Yesterday while driving home from work, I was telling Mike that I wanted to turn our garage into a natural light studio. Less than 20 minutes later I pull up to the post office and see a for sale flyer with these beauties on them and one other couch and chair! 1930's furniture! I was in shock! This is exactly what I would put in a studio. OMG I was so excited. 15 minutes later they were mine! $250 for both. Unreal. I can't believe they are mine. And they are in amazing condition!!! eek!!!

Excuse the photo. I'm blogging from the ipad2 and the camera isn't the best.

Coles's first Giants game

Mike and Grandpa Glenn took Cole to his first Giants game on Sunday!  From what I understand Cole had a great time but wasn't totally into the game and had more fun cleaning peanuts off the ground.  At the end of the game Cole got to go on to the field and run the bases.  Mike took a video, I'm working on getting that uploaded.

Bargaining

Both kids have gotten very good at bargaining.  Here is an example from each one of them today:

Scene - I was telling the kids they needed to help clean up

Me: Cole can you please put the ipod down and help me clean.

Cole:  Mom, can you set the timer for 25 hours and when it goes off I will help clean.

Scene - In the kids bedroom and Siena is awake

Me:  Good night Siena

Siena: My snuggle you in the office?

Me:  No

Siena:  My snuggle you on the couch?

Me:  No Siena you sleep in your bed.

Siena : No Mommy!

A few other little phrases of hers I don't want to forget are:

poo pew (poo poo)

Eee goo (drinkable yogurt)

My - instead of Me or I

That Peanut Guy

Just after 4th of July we had a walk in bring in a little 3 week old kitten claiming they found it in their garage and they were allergic to cats. So we took it in and eventually Grandma Carole and Grandpa Glenn took him in!

Siena kills me when she talks about him.  We all started calling him Peanut because he was so tiny, well the name stuck.  She calls him "That Peanut Guy" or "That Peanut Cat"

Gymnastics update

Gymnastics was a hit!  Siena had so much fun.  She is of course the littlest in the class but she kept up and did everything she was supposed to do.  When I asked her after class what she did she said:

"I did like this way over there and I did that over there and I jump like this on the floor and I run around"
