Russell and Elexis stopped by on their way up to Oregon.  The snow storm put a little dent in their travels so the kids got to spend some time with them!

Surprise Snow Storm

I am loving all this spring snow storms!  The kids love watching the snow fall!  We ended up with 4 inches!

The kiss

Today Cole had his first kiss. It's funny to even think of his first kiss at 4 years of age but this really was a kiss. Apparently at preschool while all the kids are playing Cole walked up to Ella, put his hand behind her head and pulled her in for a kiss. He planted one right on her. Ella was not amused andvwiped her face off. I asked Cole why he kissed her and he said "mommy I just wanted to be happy." Can you really blame him though? She's pretty dang adorable.

Shaun, Shaun the Leprechaun

Cole made a St. Patricks Day hat at preschool today.  They also learned about leprechauns.  He was telling me all about a leprechaun named Shaun.

Dinosaur hunting in the jungle

When it's actually warm enough to be outside the kids really seem to like dinosaur hunting in the scotch broom.  Cole calls Siena his baby dinosaur.  :-)

She may sleep in a different spot every night, but at least she is going to bed!!!!  No more screaming bedtimes.  Thank goodness!!!!  I think I see more sleep in my future!

25 months

Siena had her 2 year check up today. She is doing amazing at her vocabulary compared to where Cole was at this age. She is 32 3/4 inches tall (17th%) and 23# 6oz (8%). She has dropped about 5oz in weight. I kind of suspected that she would have dropped a bit in weight because since being off the bottle she has not been chugging the rice milk.

Ipad 2 and vomit

I ordered my ipad 2!!!!!!!!!!!  Woo Hoo!!!!!  I can not wait until it gets here!  I stayed up until 1 am so I could be one of the first to order them which is a good thing because by this afternoon (16 hours after it went on sale on line) the wait time for one to be delivered was almost a month!  I debated on going to bed early and setting the alarm but I decided that I would feel worse if I did that.  At 11:30pm Siena woke up vomiting.  So I guess she would have been the alarm clock anyways, huh?  While I was waiting up I was one of the first to hear about the devestating earthquake and tsunami in Japan.  So horrible.
