New favorite activity

Although they don't look thrilled here, they love cruising the property in the stroller.

Soccer

This kid is insane with a soccer ball.  I am shocked at his ball handling skills.  He's better at it than I am!!  I can't wait to put him in soccer next summer!

Wheels

They each have their favorite set to ride and dad helps out the best he can!

Pesto

If you didn't already know it, one of Cole's favorite things to eat is basil and then of course pesto.  He also loves helping me make it.

Most of the basil makes it in.

Park Time!

It's been awhile since we have been at the park.  Like pretty much all summer.  But it was so nice to walk a few laps again and just enjoy the scenery.

The greeters.  These are probably the most intrusive group of geese I have ever encountered.  They are a pain in the butt.

Cole is very consistent in what he does on every lap.  He always stops off here and throws rocks.

Then he goes around to run across the little bridge.

He is really being an awesome poser for me lately!  I love it!

Then we picked blackberries.  These obviously have some time to mature but we were able to get a handful of some ripe ones.

Siena was super tired.  She relaxed in the stroller the entire time and not once begged to get out.

Cole did his usual play structure climbing and sliding except this time when we asked him to come to us so we could walk another lap, he would stop, run over to us and start walking with no tantrums, screaming, nothing!  It was amazing.  I am hoping that continues.

3 1/2 years old

And just like that Cole is 3 1/2.  Holy cow.  Where did time go?  He is such an awesome little dude who is so excited about life and everything in it.  He loves pre school, his maze books, his trains and legos, and he loves helping us do stuff.

He cracks us up on a constant basis with comments like "Wait!  I have an idea!  I need a treat!"

He still takes naps, but more on an every other day basis.  He loves climbing in to Siena's crib when we are still asleep and plays with her.  This morning we woke up to hearing this conversation:

Siena: "unnnah!"

Cole:  "No siena, don't say that"

Siena :"unnnah!"

Cole:  "no siena! that is a bad word!"

Cole is very descriptive of things and loves to narrate future situations as to get us to let him do things he wants to do.  Everything is very "Yes or No" right now.  He will say things like "Mommy, is my school open today?  Yes or no"  I know he got that from me because I realized I do the same thing to him.

Cole weight and height stats will be in on Friday after his and Siena's dr's apt.

Late night snack

Apparently I need to be more clear with instructions to Mike when I ask him to feed the kids.  I never said give the sleeping kids food and not the one who was awake and hungry.  :-)

She's an artist

I have got to be better about hiding the permanent markers.  At least nothing too important got ruined.

Siena is at that stage where she says "hi" and "bye" to everything.  People, planes, helicopters, birds, etc....
